Under the instructions of the Registered Nurse (Registered Nurse), the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) carries out jobs for clients’ Activities of Daily Living to promote convenience and security, helps RN with the collection of client information and carries out chosen procedures. Complies with established requirements and treatments.

Accreditation as a Nursing Assistant.

Performs jobs for clients’ Activities of Daily Living (ADL) to promote patient convenience and security.
Assists the Registered Nurse with collection of client data such as but not limited to the following examples: Important Signs, Client weights, Intake & Output, Blood glucose/ urine multi-stix and Pulse Oximetry.
Immediately and courteously reacts to any client call light.
Regularly carries out regular rounds and observes client activity.
Performs routine patient treatment/procedures.
Files client care tasks performed and communicates successfully to Registered Nurse on delegated tasks, such as but not restricted to: patient data collection, treatments and treatments, and ADL’s.
Quickly and clearly observes and communicates to the RN changes in the client’s condition.
Patient spaces and department work areas are organized and maintained in a cool, tidy and well-supplied manner.
Assists the patients by orienting them to the hospital routine in a genuine and useful way.
Acknowledges the occurrence of dangerous situations and emergency situations and takes the proper actions in a prompt manner. #cb
