You will be needed to work some weekends, nights and vacations with this position.

MINIMUM CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Should have current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • Should want and able to work some weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Needs to want and able to drive a 15 guest facility van.
  • The candidate should have a readable and legitimate Florida driver’s license.
  • Must have exceptional interaction and social skills.
  • Needs to have good computer abilities.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a long-lasting care environment with a geriatric population in activities department.
  • Existing CPR card.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

CNA/Therapy Assistant will guarantee that the citizens ADLs, daily assignments and an ongoing program of activities in accordance with the extensive evaluation are completed during the shift while identifying and fixing needs. Reports straight to the Activities Director (Treatment Assistant Manager).

Help with developing and executing an activities program, which improves or maintains physical, mental and social well-being with a diverse work schedule that may include weekend, nights, and vacations.

Assist with developing an activities prepare for each resident in accordance with the inter-disciplinary team process.

Responsible for the documentation of that plan in the citizen’s medical record.

Responsible for preliminary interview with brand-new locals and input of resident information into the medical record.

Performing responsibilities of the Activities Director when the Activities Director is not available.

Responsible for preserving the activity space and requesting of, equipment and products for the program and guaranteeing resident security for private and/or group activities.

Observe all center safety, infection control policies and treatments.

Complete needed paperwork. Regularly work cooperatively with local, local’s representatives, center staff, physicians, experts and ancillary service providers. Preserve privacy of resident.

Performs all other associated responsibilities in an effective, prompt, professional manner as appointed. Participate in all in-service programs classes as designated and total task. Participates in interdisciplinary team and other center meetings as designated. Follow Locals Rights’ policies as perpetuity. Presume responsibility for data included in the employees’ handbook.

Perform other duties as designated.

This is an OPS (Short-term) Position.
