About the Opportunity
The right candidate will posses an ownership mindset, a high degree of effort and view no task as too large or too little. As a Qualified Nursing Assistant you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and responsibility necessary for performing your designated responsibilities. The main purpose of your task position is to offer each of your appointed citizens with routine everyday nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s evaluation and care strategy, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
Task Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities for this Licensed Nurse Assistant role consist of:
- Offer caring resident care as required or as directed by the licensed nurse
- Helps homeowners in activities of daily living (ADLs) and documents in medical record
- Answers resident call lights quickly
- Keeps resident rooms neat and safe
- Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care requirements are being met
- Preserves the privacy of all resident info
- Assists with client transfers as necessary
- Develops and preserves a calm atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive focus throughout the unit and shift
- Reports problems or complaints made by locals to supervisor
- Makes sure the resident spaces are prepared to receiving incoming locals (i.e., bed made, name tags up, etc.)
- Interacts professionally with locals, families and staff
Job Requirements
Particular certifications for this Qualified Nurse Assistant function consist of:
- Valid accreditation as a CNA in state of employment
- 6 months’ experience in a long-term care environment chosen
- Capability to respond decisively and rapidly in emergency situations.
- Capability to communicate effectively with locals and their family members, and center personnel
