The purpose of corrective care nursing is to take an active role in assisting older adults maintain their highest level of function, thus preventing excess special needs. This book was written to assist formal and informal caregivers and administrators at all levels to understand the fundamental viewpoint of restorative care, and be able to develop and execute successful corrective care programs. The book supplies a total 6-week education program in restorative look after caregivers, lots of ideas for suitable activities, and useful methods for motivating both older adults and caretakers to take part in restorative care. In addition, the book provides a summary of the requirements for restorative care across all settings, the required documents, and ways in which to complete that documents.
